BIOGRAPHY

Gurmukh Singh joined Cassady in August 2022 as an Articled Student. He has practiced in India as an advocate for seven years. His area of work was corporate law and taxation.

Gurmukh was born and raised in Himachal Pradesh, India. He moved to Vancouver in 2021 to complete his graduate studies (LL.M – Common Laws) at the University of British Columbia. He is fluent in English, Hindi, Punjabi and has working proficiency in French.

Recently Gurmukh has appeared at the Supreme Court of British Columbia for Chamber applications. He also has experience appearing in Supreme and High Courts of India for the civil, corporate, and taxation matters.

Outside of work, Gurmukh enjoys meditation, hiking, running, cricket and travelling. He also enjoys volunteering for the charity work.

Gurmukh is a member of the Punjab and Haryana Bar Council and Fellow member of The Institute of Company Secretaries of India.
