BIOGRAPHY

Marcel Pytlewski has a wide-ranging practice including civil litigation and corporate commercial law with a particular focus on employment law (both employer and employee) and residential real estate matters. He appears regularly on contested matters in the British Columbia courts. Marcel joined Cassady Law LLP in 2014 as an articling student and subsequently joined the firm as an associate after being called to the British Columbia Bar in 2015.

Marcel completed part of his undergraduate studies in the Management of Innovation program at Erasmus University in Rotterdam, Netherlands. He continued his education at University of British Columbia’s Sauder School of Business where he obtained his Bachelor of Commerce with a specialization in real estate. In 2012, Marcel obtained his Bachelor of Laws from the University of Leicester in England, United Kingdom. He subsequently completed the accreditation process in 2013 through the Federation of Law Societies of Canada.

Marcel is an active member of the New Westminster Bar Association. When not practicing law, Marcel participates in family activities with his wife, son, and daughter. He has traveled extensively throughout the Americas, Europe, Asia and the South Pacific, and hopes to continue exploring the world one country at a time. He is also an avid golfer, downhill skier, and mountain biker.
